STATUS TERKINI KES DISAHKAN COVID-19 YANG TELAH PULIH
Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa pada hari ini, Malaysia mencatatkan bilangan kes pulih COVID-19 sebanyak 825 kes. Ini menjadikan jumlah kumulatif kes yang telah pulih sepenuhnya dari COVID-19 adalah 28,234 kes (70.2 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).
STATUS TERKINI KES COVID-19 DI MALAYSIA
Secara keseluruhannya, sehingga 8 November 2020 pukul 12:00 tengah hari, sebanyak 852 kes baharu telah dilaporkan menjadikan jumlah kes positif COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 40,209 kes. Manakala, jumlah kes aktif dengan kebolehjangkitan COVID-19 pula adalah 11,689 kes.
Untuk makluman, negeri Sabah mencatatkan sebanyak 524 kes (61.5 peratus) daripada keseluruhan kes positif pada hari ini. Negeri-negeri di Lembah Klang pula mencatatkan sebanyak 161 kes (18.9 peratus) dan Wilayah Persekutuan (WP) Labuan mencatatkan sebanyak 24 kes positif (2.8 peratus) pada hari ini. Kelima-lima negeri ini masih berada dalam Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat (PKPB) dan menyumbang sebanyak 709 kes (83.2 peratus) daripada keseluruhan kes positif COVID-19 pada hari ini.
Sebanyak 70 kes (8.2 peratus) yang dilaporkan adalah berkaitan kluster-kluster di Pusat Tahanan Sementara (PTS) dan penjara. Ini melibatkan Kluster Penjara Sandakan (34 kes), Kluster Benteng LD (18), Kluster Penjara Kepayan (9 kes), Kluster Penjara Seberang Perai (7 kes), Kluster Rumah Merah (1 kes), dan Kluster PTS Tawau (1 kes).
Ingin dimaklumkan daripada 852 kes baharu pada hari ini, terdapat 13 kes import yang mendapat jangkitan dari luar negara yang melibatkan lapan (8) warganegara dan lima (5) bukan warganegara yang tiba dari negara:
- Indonesia (3 kes);
- Arab Saudi (3 kes);
- Nepal (2 kes);
- Maghribi (1 kes);
- Emiriah Arab Bersatu (1 kes);
- United Kingdom (1 kes);
- Turki (1 kes); dan
- Korea Selatan (1 kes).
Perincian kes penularan COVID-19 dalam negara adalah seperti berikut:
- Sabah: 524 kes
- 89 kes daripada kluster-kluster sedia ada;
- 338 kes daripada saringan kontak rapat kes positif COVID-19; dan
- 97 kes daripada lain-lain saringan COVID-19.
- Selangor: 136 kes
- 45 kes daripada kluster-kluster sedia ada, termasuk satu (1) kes daripada kluster baharu iaitu Kluster Ikhtisas;
- 44 kes daripada saringan kontak rapat kes positif COVID-19;
- Satu (1) kes Severe Acute Respiratory Infections (SARI); dan
- 46 kes daripada lain-lain saringan COVID-19.
- Negeri Sembilan : 104 kes
- 93 kes daripada kluster-kluster sedia ada, termasuk tujuh (7) kes daripada kluster baharu iaitu Kluster Ikhtisas;
- Lapan (8) daripada saringan kontak rapat kes positif COVID-19;
- Satu (1) kes Severe Acute Respiratory Infections (SARI); dan
- Dua (2) kes daripada lain-lain saringan COVID-19.
- Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan : 23 kes
- Dua (2) kes daripada kluster-kluster sedia ada;
- Satu (1) kes daripada saringan kontak rapat kes positif COVID-19; dan
- 20 kes daripada lain-lain saringan COVID-19.
- Pulau Pinang : 18 kes
- 17 kes daripada kluster-kluster sedia ada; dan
- Satu (1) kes daripada saringan kontak rapat kes positif COVID-19.
- Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur : 11 kes
- Satu (1) kes daripada kluster sedia ada;
- Enam (6) kes daripada saringan kontak rapat kes positif COVID-19; dan
- Empat (4) kes daripada lain-lain saringan COVID-19.
- Perak : Tujuh (7) kes daripada kluster sedia ada.
- Melaka : Lima (5) kes
- Tiga (3) daripada kluster baharu iaitu Kluster Berendam; dan
- Dua (2)kes daripada saringan kontak rapat kes positif COVID-19.
- Kedah : Tiga (3) kes
- Dua (2) kesdaripada kluster sedia ada; dan
- Satu (1) kes daripada lain-lain saringan COVID-19.
- Sarawak : Dua (2) kes daripada lain-lain saringan COVID-19.
- Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya : Dua (2) kes daripada kluster sedia ada.
- Kelantan : Dua (2) kes daripada lain-lain saringan COVID-19.
- Johor : Satu (1) kes daripada saringan pulang dari kawasan berisiko tinggi (Sabah).
- Terengganu :Satu (1) kes daripada kluster sedia ada.
Sehingga kini, terdapat 94 kes positif COVID-19 yang sedang dirawat di Unit Rawatan Rapi (ICU), di mana 32 kes memerlukan bantuan pernafasan.
Daripada maklumat terkini yang dilaporkan ke Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) Kebangsaan, dukacita dimaklumkan bahawa terdapat pertambahan empat (4) kes kematian berkaitan COVID-19. Justeru, jumlah kumulatif kes kematian COVID-19 di Malaysia adalah sebanyak 286 kes (0.7 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan kes).

KKM mengucapkan takziah kepada semua ahli keluarga mereka.
KLUSTER DIISYTIHAR TAMAT
KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat dua (2) kluster telah tamat pada hari ini.
- KLUSTER PUTRA
Kluster ini melibatkan daerah Bintulu di negeri Sarawak.
Sehingga 8 November 2020, seramai 190 orang telah disaring di mana lima (5) kes dikesan positif COVID-19 dan baki 185 orang adalah negatif. Tiada kematian dilaporkan dalam kluster ini.
- KLUSTER KUARTERS
Kluster ini melibatkan daerah Tongod, Telupid dan Kinabatangan di negeri Sabah.
Sehingga 8 November 2020, seramai 1,432 orang telah disaring di mana sembilan (9) kes dikesan positif COVID-19 dan baki 1,423 orang adalah negatif. Tiada kematian dilaporkan dalam kluster ini.
DUA (2) KLUSTER BAHARU DILAPORKAN HARI INI
KKM ingin memaklumkan bahawa terdapat dua (2) kluster baharu telah dikenal pasti pada hari ini iaitu;
- KLUSTER IKHTISAS
Kluster baharu ini melibatkan daerah Petaling dan Klang di negeri Selangor, daerah Jeli di negeri Kelantan dan daerah Seremban di Negeri Sembilan. Kes indeks bagi kluster ini (iaitu kes ke-33122) telah dikenal pasti positif COVID-19 hasil saringan pra pembedahan pada 29 Oktober 2020 dan telah dimasukkan ke Hospital Sungai Buloh. Saringan kontak rapat telah mengesan sebanyak 21 lagi kes positif COVID-19.
Sehingga 8 November 2020, 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 362 individu telah disaring, di mana:
- 22 kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (8 kes baharu);
- 213 kes dikesan negatif; dan
- 127 individu masih menunggu keputusan.
- KLUSTER BERENDAM
Kluster baharu ini melibatkan daerah Alor Gajah dan Melaka Tengah di negeri Melaka. Kes indeks bagi kluster ini (iaitu kes ke-32489, kes ke-39353, dan kes ke-39354) telah dikenal pasti positif COVID-19 hasil saringan individu-individu bergejala pada 30 Oktober 2020. Saringan kontak rapat telah mengesan sebanyak lima (5) lagi kes positif COVID-19. Kesemua kes telah dimasukkan ke Hospital Melaka.
Sehingga 8 November 2020, 12 tengah hari, sejumlah 1,861 individu telah disaring, di mana:
- Lapan (8) kes dikesan positif COVID-19 (3 kes baharu);
- 109 individu dikesan negatif; dan
- 1,744 individu masih menunggu keputusan.
PERKHIDMATAN SARINGAN COVID-19 OLEH SEKTOR SWASTA
KKM maklum bahawa sejajar dengan peningkatan kes COVID-19 kebelakangan ini, permintaan dari orang perseorangan serta majikan untuk mendapatkan perkhidmatan saringan COVID-19 secara sukarela telah turut meningkat, termasuk pelbagai promosi berkaitan. Secara amnya, saringan COVID-19 merangkumi proses pengambilan sampel dari pesakit dan juga proses ujian ke atas sampel tersebut.
Kementerian ingin menegaskan bahawa di sektor swasta, proses pengambilan sampel hanya boleh dijalankan di fasiliti berikut iaitu:
- Klinik perubatan swasta (private medical clinic);
- Pusat jagaan ambulatori swasta (ambulatory care centre); atau
- Hospital swasta.
Manakala bagi penyediaan health screening booth secara on-site di tempat selain di fasiliti di atas (misalnya di kilang, dewan orang ramai atau bangunan pejabat), perkhidmatan ini hanya boleh ditawarkan oleh pihak klinik perubatan swasta.
Bagi proses pengujian sampel yang telah diperolehi, ia boleh diproses di fasilti kesihatan itu sendiri atau dihantar ke mana-mana makmal perubatan swasta diakreditasi KKM, bergantung kepada kemudahan yang tersedia di tempat pengambilan sampel dan juga jenis saringan yang dijalankan (RTK Ag/RT-PCR). Setiap fasiliti berkaitan yang menawarkan perkhidmatan saringan COVID-19, dan semua makmal yang menjalankan ujian ke atas sampel tersebut, perlu mematuhi setiap syarat dan garis panduan yang telah dikeluarkan oleh KKM. Ini bagi memastikan aspek keselamatan pesakit dan petugas kesihatan serta kualiti perkhidmatan yang ditawarkan tidak dikompromi.
KKM memuji inisiatif majikan yang mengambil inisiatif menjalankan saringan bagi pekerja mereka. Namun KKM ingin meminta kerjasama majikan dan orang ramai untuk memastikan bahawa mereka hanya berurusan dengan penyedia perkhidmatan saringan COVID-19 yang mematuhi ketetapan syarat dan garis panduan KKM.
Senarai kemudahan dan perkhidmatan jagaan kesihatan swasta yang menawarkan perkhidmatan saringan COVID-19 boleh dirujuk di laman sesawang KKM, laman sesawang Bahagian Amalan Perubatan http://medicalprac.moh.gov.my/v2/ serta dalam aplikasi MySejahtera.
NASIHAT KESIHATAN BERKAITAN COVID-19
KKM ingin menasihati orang ramai agar terus patuhi saranan serta nasihat-nasihat kesihatan yang sering ditekankan. Jadikanlah nasihat-nasihat ini satu kebiasaan baharu dalam kehidupan harian:
- Elakkan 3S / 3C : iaitu elakkan kawasan yang sesak (Crowded place), elakkan kawasan yang sempit (Confined space) dan elak sembang atau bertutur dengan jarak yang dekat (Close conversation).
- Amalkan 3W : iaitu kerap mencuci tangan dengan air dan sabun (Wash), memakai alat pelitup muka (facemask) di tempat awam yang telah diwajibkan oleh pihak Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) mulai 1 Ogos 2020 atau jika bergejala (Wear), dan (Warn) iaitu amaran dari KKM yang lebih berkonsep peringatan seperti:
- Elakkan bersalaman / bersentuhan termasuk melagakan mana-mana bahagian tubuh badan sebagai menggantikan cara kebiasaan bersalam;
- Amalkan etika batuk dan bersin;
- Dapatkan rawatan segera jika bergejala;
- Duduk di rumah dan elakkan kunjung-mengunjung;
- Lakukan aktiviti disinfeksi dan pembersihan di kawasan yang kerap disentuh.
Patuhlah kepada S.O.P sebagai normal baharu iaitu:
- S : Syarat-syarat seperti yang ditetapkan di bawah Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Pemulihan (PKPP);
- O : Orang yang berisiko tinggi seperti kanak-kanak, bayi, warga emas dan orang kurang upaya (OKU) perlu dilindungi, individu tidak sihat dan bergejala dikehendaki segera menjalani pemeriksaan kesihatan;
- P : Penjarakan fizikal (physical distancing) sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter diamalkan pada setiap masa.
KKM akan terus memantau perkembangan kejadian jangkitan di dalam negara, dan juga luar negara melalui maklumat yang diperolehi daripada pihak Pertubuhan Kesihatan Sedunia (WHO). Orang ramai akan sentiasa dimaklumkan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenainya. Begitu juga, KKM akan memastikan langkah pencegahan dan kawalan yang sewajarnya adalah dilaksanakan secara berterusan.

SITUATION IN MALAYSIA

Current Status of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases Who Have Recovered
The Ministry of Health (MOH) is pleased to inform that today Malaysia reported 825 COVID-19 recovery cases. Therefore, cumulatively, 28,234 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (70.2% of total cumulative cases).
Current Situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia
As of 8 November 2020, 12 pm, a total of 852 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases are reported today. Cumulatively, there are 40,209 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 11,689 active and infective COVID-19 cases.
Today, Sabah reported 524 cases (61.5%) from the total confirmed cases reported. The states in the Klang Valley meanwhile reported 161 cases (18.9%) and WP Labuan reported 24 confirmed cases (2.8%) today. These five states are still under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) and accounted for 709 cases (83.2%) from the total confirmed COVID-19 cases reported today.
A total of 70 cases (8.2%) reported today are related to the prison and temporary detention centre (PTS) clusters. These are the Penjara Sandakan Cluster (34 cases), Benteng LD Cluster (18 cases), Penjara Kepayan Cluster (9 cases), Penjara Seberang Perai Cluster (7 cases), Rumah Merah Cluster (1 case) and PTS Tawau Cluster (1 case).
Of the 852 additional cases reported today, there are 13 imported cases who were infected overseas, involving eight (8) Malaysians and three (3) non-Malaysians, who were travellers from:
- Indonesia (3 cases)
- Saudi Arabia (3 cases)
- Nepal (2 cases)
- Morocco (1 case)
- United Arab Emirates (1 case)
- United Kingdom (1 case)
- Turkey (1 case)
- South Korea (1 case)
The details of the local transmission COVID-19 cases are as follows:
- Sabah: 524 cases
- 89 cases from existing active clusters.
- 338 cases from screening of close contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
- 97 cases from other COVID-19 screenings.

Currently, 94 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with 32 patients on ventilation support.
Regretfully, four (4) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 286 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (0.7% of total cumulative cases).

Clusters Declared Ended Today
MOH would like to inform that the two (2) clusters has been declared ended today.
- The Putra Cluster
This cluster was in the Bintulu district, Sarawak.
As of 8 November 2020, a total of 190 individuals have been screened, of which five (5) confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected and 185 individuals tested negative. No death was reported in this cluster.
- The Kuarters Cluster
This cluster involved the Tongod, Telupid and Kinabatangan districts in Sabah.
As of 8 November 2020, a total of 1,432 individuals have been screened, of which nine (9) confirmed COVID-19 cases were detected and 1,423 individuals tested negative. No death was reported in this cluster.
Two (2) New Clusters Reported Today
MOH would like to inform that two (2) new clusters were identified today.
- The Ikhtisas Cluster
This new cluster involves the Petaling and Klang districts in Selangor, Jeli district in Kelantan, and Seremban district in Negeri Sembilan. The index case for this cluster (Case 33,122) was detected positive for COVID-19 from pre-surgery screening on 29 October 2020 and admitted into Sungai Buloh Hospital. Screening of close contacts has identified 21 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases.
As of 8 November 2020, 12 pm, a total of 362 individuals have been screened, of which:
- 22 confirmed COVID-19 cases (8 additional cases reported today)
- 213 individuals tested negative
- 127 individuals awaiting results
- The Berendam Cluster
This new cluster involves the Alor Gajah and Melaka Tengah districts in Melaka. The index cases for this cluster (Cases 32,489, 39,353 and 39,354) were detected positive for COVID-19 from symptomatic screening on 30 October 2020. Screening of close contacts has identified five (5) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases. All these cases were admitted into Melaka Hospital.
As of 8 November 2020, 12 pm, a total of 1,861 individuals have been screened, of which:
- Eight (8) confirmed COVID-19 cases (3 additional cases)
- 109 individuals tested negative
- 1,744 individuals awaiting results
COVID-19 Screening Services by the Private Sector
MOH takes note that in line with the recent increase in COVID-19 cases, the demand from individuals and employers to obtain voluntary COVID-19 screening services has also increased, including various related promotions. Generally, COVID-19 screening includes the process of taking samples from patients as well as the testing process on those samples.
MOH would like to emphasise that in the private sector, the sampling process can only be carried out at the following facilities:
- Private medical clinic
- Private ambulatory care centre
- Private hospital
Meanwhile, for the provision of on-site health screening booths in places other than the above facilities (e.g. in factories, public halls or office buildings), this service can only be offered by private medical clinics.
For the testing process of the samples obtained, it can be processed at the health facility itself or sent to any MOH-accredited private medical laboratory, depending on the facilities available at the sampling location and also the type of screening tests carried out (RTK Ag or RT-PCR). Every facility that offers COVID-19 screening services, and all laboratories that conduct tests on the samples, must comply with every conditions and guidelines issued by the MOH. This is to ensure that the safety aspects of patients and healthcare workers, as well as the quality of services offered, are not compromised.
MOH praises the initiative of employers who conduct screening for their employees. However, the MOH would like to seek the cooperation of employers and the public to ensure that they only engage with COVID-19 screening service providers who comply with the MOH’s requirements and guidelines.
The list of private healthcare facilities that offer COVID-19 screening services can be found on the MOH website, the Medical Practice Division website at http://medicalprac.moh.gov.my/v2/, as well as in the MySejahtera application.
Health Advisory on COVID-19
MOH advices the public to continue to comply to the recommendations and health advisories that are often emphasised. These advisories must be incorporated as the new normal in our daily life, including:
- Avoid the 3Cs: Avoid Crowded places; Confined spaces; and Close conversations.
- Practice the 3Ws: Wash hands frequently with water and soap; Wearing facemasks is now mandatory in public areas (starting from 1 August 2020 as directed by the National Security Council) or highly recommended if symptomatic; Warn self and others for the following, in line with MOH’s advisories:
- Avoid shaking hands or touching others, including bumping parts of the body in lieu of shaking hands
- Practice good coughing and sneezing etiquette
- Seek early treatment if symptomatic
- Stay at home and avoid from visiting others
- Regularly clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces in common areas
In addition to the SOPs, continue to adhere to THiS as the new normal:
- T: Terms set under the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO)
- Hi: High-risk groups such as children, infants, older adults and the disabled must be protected, and if unwell with symptoms, to seek early treatment
- S: Safe physical distancing is practiced at all times, of at least 1 metre away from others
MOH will continue to monitor the development of the COVID-19 situation, both in the country as well as internationally, based on available information from the World Health Organization (WHO). The public will be continuously updated on the latest information. In addition, MOH will ensure that appropriate preventive and control measures are continuously implemented.
